Interesting report from EPPOSI

An interesting report from the Sixth Workshop on Partnering for Rare Disease Therapy Development „People with Rare Diseases – No Longer Alone in the World“ (London, 25-27 October 2005) is published on their website. The workshop brought together representatives of the patients` organizations, academic science and industry. The main conclusion is that the partnership building is a key element in developing solutions to address the specific issues in researching, developing and manufacturing treatments, and in ensuring that the rare disease patients get access to those treatments.
