The 2006 NORD Conference will be held on 28 September – 1 October 2006 in Bethesda, Maryland, USA. General sessions address the important research issues that are of interest to individuals, family members, colleagues, professionals, and leaders of voluntary health agencies and support groups. In a cooperative effort with the Office of Rare Diseases at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), this year the NORD Annual Conference offers a special program designed to take advantage of the close proximity to the NIH and FDA campuses.
