Meeting on Rare Diseases in Italy

International Meeting “Rare Diseases and Orphan Drugs” will be held on 18 – 19 September 2006, in Rome, Italy. It is organized by the Italian National Institute of Health in the framework of the European NEPHIRD Project. Different issues in the area of rare diseases and orphan drugs will be discussed and their importance to the Italian Health System, research and public health, tackling rare diseases and orphan drugs at national level in different Countries, and the new deal of health: the participation of Patients’ Associations. The meeting will proceed to the NEPHIRD conference (Network of Public Health Institutions on Rare Diseases) on September 20 – 23, 2006. For more information click here.
