Technologies based on eye control allow people with serious movement impairment to command a computer only with their eyes and thus to write, read, connect to internet, play games, study, use specialised software for communication etc.
In order to acquaint the Bulgarian public with the opportunities open by these new technologies, “Assist – assisting technologies” Foundation is organising a seminar to be held on 17 April 2015 in Sofia, Business & Networking Club, Lozenets, 16B Zlaten Rog str. 1 floor (near James Baucher metro station).
Mr Kaveh Vefag from Swedish company Tobbi Dynаvox will present the potentials of eye controlled assisting technologies and their use by children and adults with movement impairment, cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophies, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, autism etc.
During the afternoon session the participants will be allowed to test the appliances and the specialised software.
