The Association „Epidermolisis Bullosa“ (AEB-Bulgaria) initiates a survey on genodermatoses in Bulgaria. The main goal of the AEB is to help people, affected by inherited skin disease to feel an equal members of the society. Genodermatoses have been neglected so far by the medical services in our country. The most frequent and severe genodermatoses in Bulgaria are: Epidermolysis bullosa hereditaria; Ichthyoses; Morbus Darie; Xeroderma pigmentosum; Naevus pigmentosus giganteus; Phacomatoses – Morbus Reklinghausen, Morbus Pringle-Burneville, Morbus Klippel-Trenaunay; Atopic Dermatitis; Psoriasis vulgaris. ICRDOD supports this initiative of AEB. We appeal to the medical community, general practitioners, patients themselves with rare inherited skin diseases and their families to participate in this research by completing a special Questionnaire.
